Lake Lanier -
is a prime spot for all types of water sports and outdoor recreation. This 38,000 acre lake is about a half-hour drive from Atlanta, located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake Allatoona –
is one of Georgia’s best parks for boating, swimming, water sports and fishing. You can rent a boat or dock your own at one of the 26 boat ramps. There are also over a dozen hiking trails and several camp sites. While visiting Lake Allatoona stop by Boutier Winery for a tasting of one of their national and international award winning wines.

Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge –
one of the most popular parks in Georgia, with a 729 foot waterfall, hiking trails, trout fishing, golf, camping and more. This 57 room hideaway also has a window- lined restaurant.
